Over the years we have completed two bars and restaurants in San Francisco. The first was Caskhouse, a small and vibrant beer and wine location. Following the success of Caskhouse, the same owner moved down the street and launched Hamlet. This full service restaurant and bar required a gut remodel of a historic structure in Noe Valley. The design incorporated details that referenced the original historic structure with wide plank floors, a quartz bar that mimics the old concrete bar base, and clever use of space below the stairs for the back bar.
